A Night of Revelry

Where is it still cool to play with a water gun in this advanced world of ours? At a beach party of course! More specifically, at the Tri-University Party organized on the 25 August at Wavehouse Sentosa for the students from the three biggest universities in Singapore, namely NUS, NTU, and SMU.
The atmosphere was buzzing from the start and on entering the place you are greeted by the crowd’s enthusiasm. On the right side there was a Ben and Jerry’s event going on with people excitedly trying out new flavors of ice cream and on the left, there was a stage with a DJ spinning his music and as he spun more and more, the crowd amped up their partying.
Water would just hit your face from any direction because there were water guns available over there and people actually carrying them! Isn’t that nostalgic? You could always refill the gun because the beach was literally right there. It was full of people too. Some were swimming, some were simply sitting and talking and relaxing, because once in a while it feels good to get away from the buzz of the city. Eventually those people would go party and they would be replaced by a new bunch of tired party-people who needed to recover so that they could continue the craziness.
It was not all dancing and water guns, at the bar there were different games lined up for the revelers, from Bong-Zilla to Beer Pong. The party ended with the same excitement that it started out with. That night, the people left knowing that they would be back here again.
