It had been a long wait for the fans of Eir Aoi, as the concert had been rescheduled due to the haze last year. Despite the change in the dates, the turnout of fans were just as warm, as the queues began forming hours even before the doors opened. With fans coming from even across the causeway, the concert was set to be a blast way before the start.
Beginning with the song Awakening, Eir Aoi set the pace for the night, keeping the spirits and adrenaline high for the audience. Progressing through, INNOCENCE followed next, one that fans of the anime Sword Art Online would only be all too familiar with. With each and every song filled with energy, the audience were kept on their feet throughout the performance, moving in sync with the beat for the hours that followed.
The encore was an interesting one, as instead of the audience chanting ‘Encore’ (“On-core-rey”), the chant was ‘Eir’ (“Ei-Ei-Ru”) instead. Eir Aoi belted out two songs, namely Lapis Lazuri (コバルト・スカイ) and MEMORIA, which left everyone present with a truly memorable end to a long-awaited adrenaline packed night.
