There is a new Wich in town that will save you from long, dry afternoons.
The Wich, a scoop of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream sandwiched between two cookies, was launched yesterday at Ben and Jerry’s outlets island wide.
The coaster-sized chocolate cookies are made with dough specially flown in from Vermont, and studded with pockets of oozy warm chocolate. Peel them back to savour the creamy richness of ice cream slathered underneath.
Our pick for a cookie-ception is chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for your wich. Overwhelmed by choices? Spin the Wich Wheel and have it help you decide which among Ben and Jerry’s 19 flavours to go with.
For the month of May, Ben and Jerry’s is giving away discount coupons on its Facebook page with their Spin-A-Wich game. And if you need any more reason to indulge, Ben & Jerry’s celebrates World Fair Trade Day this month where they help improve livelihoods of farmers around the world. They hope to become fully fair trade by 2013.
The ‘Wich is available at $8.90 at all Ben & Jerry’s stores from 1st May 2012.
