UPDATED 21 April.
As many K-pop concerts, tours and events have been cancelled due to the global coronavirus situation, K-pop groups BTS and SuperM are streaming online events for their fans.
BTS: Bang Bang Con Livestream
Fans of boy band BTS can now relive their concert experiences at home, as the band announced on Twitter that they will be livestreaming their past concerts for free this weekend (18 and 19 April) from 12pm KST!
Titled Bang Bang Con, you can stream it on BTS’ official YouTube channel, BANGTAN TV, or you can sync your official lightsticks to the livestream on Weverse to feel like you’re right there with the boys and the rest of the ARMY.
SuperM: Beyond The Future digital concert
The new K-Pop live streaming service “Beyond LIVE” – a collaboration between SM Entertainment and Korea’s biggest search engine Naver – will launch in mid-April through Naver V Live.
To inaugurate this service, SM’s newest boy group SuperM will host a live performance on April 26 at 3pm KST via “Beyond LIVE”. Apart from providing a digital concert, the new platform will connect with fans using various digital means, including real-time comments and digital light sticks.
In addition, WayV will perform on May 3, NCT Dream on May 10, and NCT 127 on May 17.
Fans will be able to watch these groups perform through ‘Beyond LIVE’ for a digital concert experience, and concert content will also be posted online after the live streams. Check below for a teaser:
