The first-ever drive challenge in Singapore that will have students driving along the streets of Singapore to participate in fun challenges at every checkpoint, the Hertz Drive Challenge (powered by Campus.sg) will have 5 teams battling it out to win a 7D6N adventure road trip (coupled with airfare, a serviced apartment stay and car rental) around Gold Coast, Australia. On this jam-packed road trip, the winning team will have a go at activities like skydiving, jet boating and all-day passes to Dreamworld Gold Coast.
Campus Magazine and Hertz Singapore are working together for the first time ever to organise a car challenge for tertiary students to put their skills to the test. To be held on 13 September, 2014 (Saturday), this fun-filled competition will be a good opportunity for young drivers to experience renting cars in Singapore from Hertz, who will be providing all the cars for this challenge.
The Challenge Stations
Consisting of 4 challenge stations, the Drive Challenge will involve participants in various pitstop games like ‘Parking Karaoke’ which puts their singing and parallel parking skills to the test, and ‘Boot Loot’, a challenge that works their spatial knowledge.

Using the localised hashtag #ChopeTheRoad, friends, families and petrol heads can participate in the fun by cheering on their favourite teams as updates on social media stream in real time. To amp up team unity and the creativity, participants can come dressed according to their team name and tagline.
With a videographer attached to each team documenting the antics they get up to, viewers will get to catch all the action in this Amazing Race-styled competition. The video will be released the following day (Sunday, 14 September) to reveal the grand winner of the competition based on their points accumulated on race day and the support rallied on Facebook. Not forgetting the viewers, those who answer a question related to the video will stand a chance to win Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf vouchers.

The winning team gets bragging rights, a 7D6N road trip to the Gold Coast (complete with any car of their choice from Hertz’s extensive fleet), and experience skydiving and many other adventures. There are also other prizes to be won by the other driving teams, including Hertz vouchers worth $1,800.
