Pikachu fans will get to have a chance to eat their favourite character! To be precise, Pikachu will be represented with a chocolate banana flavour and served as a McFlurry – yes, it’s McDonald’s latest offering.
Thankfully, this flavour beat out other contenders such as a habanero Charmander McFlurry and broccoli Bulbasaur one (like the one below). Too bad, actually.
In any case, the yellow-brown-flavoured McFlurry concoction will come in a variety of packaging, showcasing the little guy’s various emotions:
Unfortunately, it is only available in McDonald’s Japan – starting from July 14 (Friday).
You can, however, have Chendol McFlurry (with chendol jelly bits and gula melaka sauce with vanilla soft serve) in celebration of both the Singapore Food Festival (which starts today) and National Day. In addition, McDonald’s Singapore will also be serving other locally-inspired items like Nasi Lemak Burger and Bandung McFizz.
