Texas Sweetheart Drives the Crowd Wild

The Texan sweetheart sent the crowd into hysterics when she burst out on stage in her charming little white tutu singing, rather aptly, might I add, her viral cover of “Glad You Came” by The Wanted.

For most of the 2 hours spent in Shine Auditorium, Megan belted out song after song with little or close to no rest to satisfy her fans’ insatiable appetite for her powerful vocals. She sang a number of originals such as “Ready Go”, “B-e-a-utiful”, “Fall In Love” and allowed us a sneak peek  into the rest of her chart-topping album.

She also did renditions of famous artists like Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, Justin Bieber’s “Baby”, Maroon 5’s “This Love” and 2013’s biggest hit, “Royals” by Lorde.

Megan drove the crowd wild when she showcased her extensive vocal range by hitting impressively high notes in “Fall In Love”. Her upbeat and catchy tunes like “Look At What You’ve Done”, which combined an ’80s feel of electric beats and jaw-dropping riffs, also got the crowd dancing along with her.

Megan, who owned the stage with her bubbly and uplifting presence, invited all of us to get off our seats and come closer to the stage for her finale where she covered Nicki Minaj’s “Starships”, which we bobbed our heads to.

I simply can’t wait to see what’s in store for this rising star in the future. Watch out world, for Megan Nicole’s cute looks and talented singing are going to hit you harder than you think.
