Ever experienced the fear of missing out (aka FOMO) before? What if you were given the chance to spend every waking hour experiencing the biggest adventure of your life? That’s what the cast of Viu’s newest original travelogue No Sleep No FOMO got to experience, quite literally.
Hosted by entertainment veteran Paul Foster (Singapore), No Sleep No FOMO features some of the biggest Asian celebrities, including Hana Tam (Hong Kong), Laureen Uy (Philippines), Benjamin Kheng and Nat Ho (Singapore), Alexander Lee Eusebio, Eric Nam and Kevin Woo (Korea) and Taya Rogers (Thailand), with special guest Kim Jong Kook (Korea) of popular Korean variety show Running Man fame.
In each episode, Paul and his celebrity guest co-host are dropped in an unexpected destination and are tasked to complete 60 “FOMO missions” within 60 hours, with no sleep. They will take the road less travelled and go on an adventure exploring the local sights and delicacies, fuelled by non-stop fun and pure adrenaline. Watch as the stars get pushed out of their comfort zones and face some of their biggest fears as they complete the missions.
No Sleep No FOMO is also the first Viu Original production to include a new interactive element on social media, Viu Engage. Fans could follow their favourite stars’ journey and play a part in voting for or suggesting FOMO missions, all in real time on the stars’ respective social media channels.
No Sleep No FOMO premieres on Viu on 22 March 2019. New episodes air on Viu every Friday from 8pm in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Myanmar. The show will have a total of 8 episodes.
