Presented by the students from NUS Sheares Hall Management board, SHout’15 was held at The Coliseum in Hard Rock Hotel in Resorts World Sentosa on March 20. Featuring 11 groups of performers, ranging from acapella to dance to singing, it was a jam-packed night of action and fun.
Entry was free for all, and people who attended were given glow sticks and a clap-banner. There were also free photo printing services that allows one to get a photo printed if they had used the hashtag “ShoutEQUINOX” on social media.
First up for the night was the band named “Ham Chicken Ham Ham” who got the crowd going by performing three top contemporary songs such as My Chemical Romance’s “I Don’t Love You”, Sia’s “Chandelier”, and finally Fall Out Boy’s “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark”.
In between performances, there were small quizzes that were asked to the audience throughout the whole event. Prizes for those who managed to get them right were tickets and vouchers for various shops located in Singapore.
The event went on to end on a high note with an all-male band, Sausage Fest, performing We The Kings’ “Check Yes Juliet” and Green Day’s “Holiday”.
