Featuring as many as 28 different comics over the span of 5 days, get ready to double over in laughter as Singapore Comedy Fringe 2016 kicks off on 26 April!
To be held at the SOTA Drama Theatre, comics who would be present for the shows include Jason Leong from Malaysia, Jeeveshu Ahluwalia from India, Paul Ogata from America, and local comics such as Rishi Budhrani, Fakkah Fuzz, Sam See and Sharul Channa!
So what can you expect to see from the shows next week?
From the For Fakkah, this will be his first ever one-hour solo show, and the hint is that he’ll be talking about his inner, deepest feeling and experiences trying to adapt to different phases of his life – something which we guess would draw commonality with everyone.
Another first for this season will include the first Hindi and English stand up comedy show featuring three popular comics from India while other shows which you should look out for during the week include the all female comics only “Show us your wits: A bunch of killer ladies”. With a broad array of topics being touched on, such as political issues between Singapore and Malaysia, to pop cultural references from overseas, there’s bound to be something for all to be able to be connected to!
