Discovering Joe Brooks was a stroke of luck. Despite the fact that he wasn’t the Clark Kent I was searching for on YouTube, after 3 minutes and 36 seconds of “Superman”, I was completely and utterly smitten by him.
This 25 years old acoustic prodigy hails from the Great Britain and has released two amazing albums Constellation Me and A reason to Swim, as well as several singles that received critical acclamation.
Joe Brooks started out as a Myspace musician at just 17 years old. After reaping 11 million song plays, he was crowned “Number 1 Unsigned UK Artist” on Myspace in 2008.
His army of worldwide fans (including me) can and will declare that Joe Brooks is a cool drink of water with a sprinkle of mint leaves. His light-hearted lyrics, soulful voice and superb guitar skills weave melodies into stories that touch the hearts of many.
