The Assembly Store recently celebrated their 1st anniversary with a closed door event at the Cathay, accompanied by live ambient music, from singer, Vanessa Fernandez as well as many other artistes such as Benjamin Kheng and Jon Chua from The Sam Willows, Rosalyn Lee, Henry Golding and Keith Png. The event marked not only the 1st anniversary of The Assembly, but also the launch of their new website, The Assembly Store Online.
Kicking the event off with a spin-the-wheel giveaway, guests coming in through the doors were invited to play the game where they were given a freebie based on where the wheel had landed on. Brands include Happy Socks, HyperGrand, Happy Plugs amongst many others that The Assembly carries. Goodie bags were also given out to all guests who had attended the event as well.
In addition to that, guests were also encouraged to join their Instagram competition and to post it with a hashtag. At the end of the night, a random picture was selected to win a grand prize. Food, snacks and drinks, which are all part of the menu of the café brand of The Assembly, The Assembly Ground, was provided freely through the night, such as tapas of melon and parma ham, andthe succulent wagyu beef burger with cheese.
All in all, the event was lively and full of fun, and most definitely a great way to celebrate the 1st or many anniversaries that is to come!
