At 7.15pm two nights ago, the trains of the North-South line broke down. Minutes later, trains of the East-West line broke down as well. Many commuters were thus stranded at bus stops, and everyone tried to make their way home from wherever they were at as best as they could. Some got onto buses not knowing where they were headed to (just to get out of the crowded bus stop), while others tried to map their way home (to the point they ended up exploring the entire world map), and as the streets were abuzz with activities, so was the Internet.
For those who were clueless about how to get home:
For those who were cheeky about the fiasco:
For those who found a lighter side to the darkness:
For those who are thankful that they are taking just the other lines:
For those who sees a pattern going on:
For those who realized how SBS and SMRT are both overworked really:
For the record, we were also affected by the breakdown, and it took us 2 hours to reach home (with half the journey walked). Did you experience anything similar?
